Aldbar rural welcomes Menmuir guests
AT Aldbar WRI's recent November meeting, members enjoyed a varied programme of entertainment provided by Menmuir WRI.
The programme included songs, demonstrations, a recitation, a quiz and an exercise routine! A vote of thanks was given by Mrs M. Daun. Tea hostesses for the evening were Miss I. Findlay assisted by Mrs J. Stewart and Mrs J. Russell.
The competition results were as follows:– Two caramel squares – 1, Miss I. Findlay; 2, Mrs S. Welsh.
The next meeting to be held on Thursday December 13 and will include a Member's Night Buffet Supper.
The competition will be a wrapped bar of chocolate to be donated to Whitehills Hospital.
