Angus Cardiac Group scoops top prize at awards

Angus Cardiac Group scooped the top award at the annual Self Management Award ceremony held recently at the Scottish Parliament in Edinburgh.

They won the Self Management Partnership of the Year category and Gordon Snedden chairman of the group, was awarded Self Management Champion of the Year.

Gordon said: “I am delighted to have won the Self-Management Champion of the Year award, particularly as there were so many high quality nominations from across Scotland.

“It is always nice to receive recognition for the work that you do and the fact that the Angus Cardiac Group’s Angus Activity Programme also won was the icing on the cake.

“I receive so much support, not only from the partners in this project, but also from my dedicated and hard-working colleagues Linda Brown, Karen Fletcher, Lesley Higgins and Tom Brighton.”
