Aberdeen Angus - Tom Rennie, Mosston Muir, Guthrie, Forfar with the four-year-old cow Mosston Muir Jennifer by Mosston Muir Lord Rennie and out of Mosston Muir Jodie Erica, with heifer calf at foot. Reserve at Fife, Ayr and cow champion at the Royal Show in 2006. Reserve - Lord and Lady Glendyne, Craigeassie, Forfar, with the 29-month-old heifer Hurdcott Elspeth by Wedderlie Ebbtide and out of Hurdcott Electress. Reserve yearling at Black Beauty Bonanza in December.
Any other breed - Stewart Brown of Roepark, Little Brechin, with the 16-month-old Limousin heifer Roepark Angel, by Ronick Hawk and out of Roepark Olivia. Reserve - W. McLaren, Muirhouses, Kirriemuir with the 11-month-old Limousin McLarens BNB by Confluence Romeo and out of Lumbylaw Lynette.
Charolais - Jimmy and Margaret McMillan and family of Craigmore, Farnell with the rising four-year-old cow Dunesk Unesta by Oldstone Egbert and out of Dunesk Octavia, with seven-month-old calf at foot. Champion at the Royal Highland Show in 2005 and reserve champion at the national Charolais show at Kirriemuir in the same year. Reserve - O. Cooper and Son, Govals, Kincaldrum with the 10-month-old bull Govals Bicardi by Ballindaloch Upmost and out of Balnuith Rhema.
Commercial - Wilson Peters, Cuilt Farmhouse, Monzie by Crieff with the 20-month-old Limousin cross Belgian Blue/Simmental heifer Rhianna. Champion at Fife and West Fife, Grantown and reserve at Nairn. Bought from J. and J. Wilson, Wester Cairnglass, Gollanfield, Inverness at the Thainstone Spectacular and bred by Young of Bunchcrew, Inverness. Reserve - John Lumgair, East Idvies, Letham, Forfar with a 16-month-old Limousin cross bullock bred by Stephen of Meikle Geddes, Nairn. Champion bullock calf at the Young Farmers sale at Thainstone.
Highland - Alun and Angela Garton, Hillhead Cottage, Gauldry, Newport-on-Tay with the 16-month-old bull Stuart of Lyntoun, by Angus of Rashiehall and out of Isla of Lyntoun; champion at Fife. Reserve - A. and A. Garton with the 39-month-old heifer Julie 11th of Craigowmill, by Brogach 1st of Austie and out of Gillsrow Julie; reserve at Kinross last year.
Simmental - Tom, Caroline and Gillian Greenhill, Craighall Farm, Duntrune, Dundee with the four-year-old cow Darsham Pearl, by Corrick Kentucky Kid and out of Darsham Japonica with four-week-old heifer calf at foot. Champion at Alyth in 2006. Reserve - G. and M. Smith of Drumsleed, Fordoun with the 29-month-old heifer Drumsleed Susannah by Drumsleed Nato and out of Drumsleed Misty; reserve at Fife and last year's reserve at Angus and Kirriemuir.
Dairy - Carcary Farms, Farnell with the Holstein second calver, Carcary Merchant Lavina by Alta Merchant and out of Gouchet South Lavina, rated G+83, giving 50 litres (88 pints) a day and projected to give 11,500 litres (20,246 pints). Reserve - Taylors of Tannadice, Baldoukie, Tannadice, Forfar with the Holstein third calver Tannadice Corr Matilda 2, by Tannadice Mattie Cory and out of Tannadice Joyful Matilda, rated VG89 and giving 50 litres (88 pints) a day.
Any other breed - Willie and Carole Ingram, Logie Durno Farm, Logie Durno, Pitcaple, Inverurie, with the home-bred Charollais shearling Logie Durno Glenmorangie by Logie Durno First Class and out of a home-bred ewe which is a full sister to a 5100 guinea sire. Reserve - W. and C. Ingram with a previously unshown Charollais gimmer by Rutland Endeavour and out of a home bred ewe.
Beltex - Graham Burke of Cairndrum Cottage, Menmuir with a gimmer by Cookstown Hamish and out of a Rustler-bred ewe; reserve at Fife. Reserve - Drumchapel Estate Co. of Chapelton of Menmuir, Brechin with a previously unshown ram lamb by Pentland Glenmorangie and out of an Abbeymore ewe.
Blackface (north type) - Doldy Farms, Doldy Farm, Glenisla, Blairgowrie, with an aged ram by a son of 17,000 Haughton and out of ewe by an 8000 sire that was the Centenary Show champion; champion as a shearling at Perth previously. Reserve - Doldy Farms with a previously unshown two-crop ewe by a son of a 3700 Chamberwells and out of a ewe by a 4200 Woolfords.
Blackface (south type) - Mark Simpson, Sidlaw Place, Coupar Angus with a ram lamb on its first outing, by an Auchloy and out of a ewe by an Auchloy. Reserve - Andrew Walker, Crammie, Glenprosen with a homebred gimmer by a 10,000 Midlock and out of a ewe by a home-bred son of a 1200 Laggan.
Cross - Helen Smith of Scobshaugh Farm, Cortachy with a pen of three February-born home bred Beltex cross lambs, by an Airyolland sire. Reserve - David Black of Glenarm, Glenclova with a pen of three lambs.
Jacob - Gordon Connor and Scott Dalrymple of Dun-Mor, Bridgend, Linlithgow, with the two-shear ram Dunmor Ronaldo, by Overdale Odd Ball and out of a Dunmor ewe; champion at Fife. Reserve - Willie and Edith Crowe of Heughhead Farm, Friockheim with the gimmer Gowanbank Alice, by Hyndshaw Owen and out of a home bred ewe.
Suffolk - Leslie Learmonth of Wester Oathlaw, Forfar, with a ram lamb by Sitlow Sensation and out of a ewe by Bawnogue Hercules. Reserve - J. R. and J. A. Barron of Findowrie, Brechin with a three-crop ewe by Cairness Royal Command out of a ewe by Muiresk Landlord.

Reserve - Chick Brown and Sons, Wishart Gardens, St. Andrews, with the five-year-old yeld mare Kinness Vision by Wells Dominator and out of Wells Valda; novice champion at the Central Scotland Group Show last year.
Miniature and coloured - Janet Murray of Lochiel Farm, Monikie, Dundee with the two-year-old colt, Smithy Croft, Dollar by Rusty of Houll and out of Stanraduff Piece of Eight, first at Neilson and a national in-hand winner.
Highland - G. M. Baird of West Whitefield, Burrelton, near Perth with nine-year-old mare, Gloria of Whitefield, by Glen Aigas and out of Yasmine of Whitefield with seven-week-old filly foal at foot. Hunters ridden - Gayle Culross of Baldragon View, Strathmartine with the 18-year-old Irish import Smokey Mountain, ridden champion at the North-east Fife Riding Club, retired to the showring. Reserve - Sarah Fish, Monboddo, Fordoun, Laurencekirk, with the five-year-old Welsh cross thoroughbred gelding Misty magic, which has been used for dressage up to now but was making its showring debut.
