Appeal after thefts around Brechin

Police in Brechin have issued an appeal for information following several reports of theft in the town.

Sometime over recent weeks, a three part aluminium extending ladder has been stolen from the roof of a transit van whilst the vehicle has been parked in Montrose Street, Brechin or elsewhere.

Sometime between 4.30 and 8 p.m. on Friday, January 31, a tumble drier has been stolen from the communal close of a block of flats in Montrose Street, Brechin.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed these incidents or who may have any information, such as having seen such an item advertised for sale, to contact them as soon as possible on their non emergency number 101. Alternatively, you can contact them anonymously on the Crimestoppers 0800 555 111.
