Appeal following two thefts

Police Scotland officers are appealing for information regarding two thefts in the local area.

Sometime between June 25 and June 30, the garden of a cottage at Haughs of Kinnaird by Farnell was entered and four grey metal patio chairs with buff coloured seating were stolen. Police are keen to speak to anyone who saw a white coloured transit van in the area. Police are also investigating the theft of approximately 70 litres of red diesel from a lorry parked at Stracathro Services on July 5 at 2.15 p.m. Two males in a silver estate vehicle distracted the female lorry driver before making off with the diesel. If you have any information on either incident, call police on 101.
