Attempted theft by housebreaking

Police Scotland officers in Brechin are appealing for information following a break-in at a house in Glenesk.

A two storey detached house in Glenesk, on the roadside and five miles from the junction with the Edzell to Fettercairn Road has been broken into some time between 3 p.m. on Monday, February 3, and 1.30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4. The front door was kicked in and the premises searched, although it is not thought that there was anything stolen.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information to contact them as soon as possible on their non-emergency number 101.
