Community councillor in firearms inquiry

Tayside Police are currently investigating an incident in Brechin where a 51 year-old male has been arrested for unrelated firearms offences.

The Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team had been called to the home of local community councillor Mark Law at Eastmill Brae on Wednesday due to ammunition and trophies of war being discovered.

The male has been released from police custody and is currently assisting police with their enquiries.
