The first official meeting of a new group set up in Brechin to deal with local issues is to take place at the start of next week.
The group was organised following an initial meeting, called by local resident Amanda Duncan who was concerned that there had been a serious escalation of incidents of crime in the town. There was a great response with many people including local police and councillors attending. Those present decided it would be a good idea to meet on a regular basis to tackle any issues.
The meeting will take place in the Northern Hotel on April 14 at 6.30 p.m.
