Family benefit from charity pool competition

THE Eagle Inn has moved to thank all those who attended their recent charity pool competition.

Because of the generous support of the inn's patrons a cheque for 235 was given to local family Leanne Mackay and Steven Duncan on Monday.

"We would like to thank all the patrons... and also give a big thankyou to all the local people and businesses for their generous donations to our raffle," said a spokesperson for the inn.

"These include Rhoda, Sporty, Marmaris, Mackie Motors and Tescos, to name a few.

"After a long gruelling day of knockout competition the winner of the coveted title "Best Pool of Brechin" was Jordan Myles," they added.

The Eagle Inn is now into its third month since it reopened. The inn has an exciting selection of events lined up for the near future. This includes a Dominoes, Darts & Pool competition on Saturday, January 26.

"So come along and see who is the champion supremo!" added a spokesperson.

Those looking to catch a glimpse of the future will also have the chance to find out during the inn's Psychic Reading Night with leon on Thursday, January 31.
