Former Rector of St Andrews retires
THE REVEREND Canon Sidney Fox, who was a former rector of St Andrew’s Episcopal Church, Brechin, from 1992 until 2005 has retired from a parish near Preston in Lancashire.
Sidney and his wife, Sue, were well known in Brechin, within the churches, and also as members of the Rotary and Inner Wheel.
He remains an honorary Canon of St Paul’s Cathedral Dundee.
The couple are retiring to Hornsea on the East Coast of Yorkshire.
The Vicar of St John the Baptist, in Broughton, the Rev. Canon Sidney Fox, said he and his wife, Sue, felt “very emotional” at the leaving event held for them in the parish hall.
