Latest £100 winner in loyalty scheme

THE Brechiner’s latest bid to encourage people to shop locally continues to go very well - with a second winner drawn from the bumper bag of entries on Friday of last week.

Mr C. Cameron of City Road, Brechin, was the latest name out of the hat in the draw of all entrants and wins a £100 shopping voucher to spend in one of the participating outlets.

With 39 outlets coming on board and contributing to the prize-pot, we have £975 to give away in voucher prizes over the course of a month.

The promotion is operating on much the same lines as the one run on the countdown to Christmas.

Each time a customer spends £10 in a participating outlet one of five boxes on a loyalty card will be marked.

The customer keeps the card and, once all £10 boxes have been marked, shoppers complete their contact details on the card and hand it into the Brechin Advertiser office at 13 Swan Street, Brechin.

Each card is complete when £50 has been spent - whether it be in one shop or several.

And, throughout the course of the promotion, shoppers can complete as many cards as they wish.

Cards handed in by 12 noon on Friday, 6 will be in with a chance of winning yet another a £100 shopping voucher.

And, on Monday, April 16, all cards - winners and losers - will go into the jackpot draw, with three top prizes up for grabs.

First entrant out of the hat will receive a shopping voucher for £400, with the second prize winner picking up a £275 prize voucher.

We trust this promotion in the countdown to Easter will be as, if not more successful than our Christmas campaign, helping keep spending local in these tough economic times, when, for many, every penny counts.

Full details of the shops in the Brechin and Edzell area participating in this latest promotion will appear on the back of the loyalty cards.

You can also get up to speed on all the outlets taking part on the advert which appears on page 16 of this week’s Brechiner.

We will also be keeping our readers bang up to date with events in the area over the Easter holiday period.

If you are organising an event and could use some publicity e-mail us at news@brechinadvertiser.com

By all working together we can help Brechin prosper throughout 2012 and beyond.
