Latest crime appeals

Police Scotland officers are currently investigating the theft of items taken from a motor car parked at the rear of property in Montrose Street, Brechin.

A spokesperson for Police Scotland explained: “Sometime between 1 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, and 9.45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 19, a person or persons entered a blue Renault Clio parked at the rear of a property in Montrose Street and stole a pink and black pop up tent.”

Officers have asked that if anyone who witnessed the incident, or know who may be responsible, to please contact police on their non emergency line, 101, or speak with any Police Officer.

Police Scotland officers are also investigating the theft of items for a garden shed on the High Street.

Sometime between June 30 and July 7, persons entered a shed and removed a lawn mower and strimmer.

Again, anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or knows who may be responsible, is asked to call 101 or speak to any officer.
