New consultations on community council changes

Angus Council is currently carrying out a review of the Community Council scheme.

The initial public consultation phase ended on Friday, September 7, and a number of representations were received from members of the public and other interested parties.

As a result, a number of minor changes have been made to the proposed scheme and associated documents, and there will now be a further four week public consultation period beginning on Monday, September 24.

The revised proposals can be viewed at main council offices, public libraries and ACCESS offices.

They can also be viewed on the council’s website http://www.angus.gov.uk/commcouncil/ccschemereview2012.cfm

Comments and representations on the revised proposals may be made by email to chiefexec@angus.gov.uk or by post to the Chief Executive, Angus Council, Angus House, Orchardbank Business Park, Forfar, DD8 1AX by 5pm on Friday, October 19.
