Prize-winning pupils at Andover Primary

THE end of the year prize giving for Andover Primary School was held in the Gardner Memorial Church during the school service which was enjoyed by primaries one to seven, school staff and many family members.

Prizes were awarded to the following houses also individual children:

School Sports: Winning House - Southesk, captained by Ben Harper and Nadia Anderson both P7.

Infant Potted Sports: Winning House - Panmure, represented by Charlie Cameron and Kayley Duncan both P3.

Middle Area Potted Sports: Winning House - Dalhousie, represented by Sean Campbell and Wallis Mathieson both P5B.

Award for Citizenship: Shannon Young and Logan Henderson both P6.

Prize for raising most sponsorship monies - Kaine (247) and Beth Greig (190).

Medals for most "Make Ten" points are awarded to those children who have accumulated ten special points each week throughout the year.

Points are earned during the week for doing good deeds, being polite, working well, being courteous. The idea is to make ten points by the end of each week and if so the child is given a prize.

The following children have continued to make ten throughout the year:

P1, Mrs. Hogg - Max McCulloch and Sarah Baker; P2, Miss Hanna - Barry McKay; P3, Miss Young - Hayley Fraser; P4, Mrs. Stewart - Morgan Crighton; P5B, Mrs. Brown - Dion Duncan; P5M, Miss McCulloch - Robyn Bruce; P6, Mrs. Taylor - Logan Henderson; P6/7, Mr. Troon - Leonna Flett; P7, Miss Duncan - Andrew Johnston.

Andover School held a Andover's Got Talent competition on Monday, June 28, which was won by Craig Donald (P5M) with his great rendition of 'Donald where's your troosers'.
