St Andrews junior choir
DURING the autumn term a group of pupils from Andover, Aberlemno and Maisondieu schools have been meeting on Monday afternoons in St Andrew’s Church with aim of forming a junior choir.
They are at present enjoying a well-earned break during the school holidays and the next rehearsal will be on Monday, October 15.
During these six weeks, the choir has built up a great repertoire of songs in various styles which they plan to demonstrate by performing a short concert in the St Andrew’s Church on Friday, October 19, beginning at 7 pm.
The programme will be augmented by a group of young guest artistes who will provide instrumental interludes between the songs.
A warm invitation is extended to parents, families, and friends. Admission is free, but a small donation to cover expenses would be appreciated.
