Vandalisms over festive period reported in Brechin

AT ABOUT 9.30 p.m. on Friday, December 28, a stone was thrown at a rear bedroom window of a property in Middleton Park, Brechin, breaking the outer pane of a double glazed unit.

Sometime between 3 p.m. on Monday, December 24, and 5 p.m. on Thursday, December 27, a brick was thrown at a double glazed window of a first floor flat in Montrose Street, Brechin, smashing two panes of glass.

It is possible that this occurred in the early hours of Boxing Day as a resident heard the sound of breaking glass in the vicinity of the flat around that time.

Police are asking for anyone who may have information or who may have witnessed these incidents to contact them either at Brechin Police Office or by calling 0300 111 2222.
