Leading conservation charity, the Scottish Wildlife Trust, is calling for applications for the new volunteer internship programmes in the North of Scotland.
A spokesman for the trust said that undertaking a volunteer internship position with the Scottish Wildlife Trust provided an excellent opportunity to gain new skills and experience whilst contributing to the protection of Scotland’s wildlife and the environment.
“Current positions available in the North of Scotland include Volunteer Marketing Co-ordinator and Volunteer Reserves Co-ordinator. The Marketing Co-ordinator Internship provides a tremendous opportunity to support a large landscape project and local volunteers utilising social media platforms,” said the spokesman.
He said the Trust’s Volunteer Reserve Co-ordinator Internship would involve undertaking a varied range of tasks including devising strategies, championing a unique Scottish species, help with reserve data and event organising.
