Two musically gifted siblings from Brechin showcased their talents during the recent Arbroath Music Festival.
Matthew Crabb, aged 12, and his nine-year-old sister Lucy, have been no strangers to success in the music world, and they continued their winning information at the Arbroath competition.
Both Matthew and Lucy exceeded expectations, by winning all the classes they entered.
Matthew won his age group Piano class (11-13 years) and then followed up by winning the Beethoven class (91-honours), the Haydn/Mozart class and the Piano Advanced Recital Class (90-honours).
He was then invited by the adjudicator to play his recital pieces again to the audience.
Lucy won the Advanced Instrumental Recital Class (90-honours) and then the Under 12 Brass Solo Class (92-honours) with a flawless performance.
Both were invited to play for the Gala Concert on Friday night, where Matthew was announced the winner of the Tomala Piano Scholarship.
To top of all their successes, Matthew and Lucy were awarded the premier award of the Blue Ribband for the most outstanding performance.
The musical duo have now started practicing for the Aberdeen Music Festival where they hope to repeat their success of last year.
