MSP encourages
coastal walking

Nigel Don MSP has encouraged his constituents to get out and enjoy the local beaches and coastal areas. Speaking in a debate on coastal partnerships Mr Don took the opportunity to discuss the attractions of his constituency in Angus and the Mearns.

“From Stonehaven in the north to the beach at Lunan Bay in the south of my constituency the coast is a series of visitor opportunities.

“Dunnottar Castle, Fowlsheugh nature reserve, Inverbervie, the Maggie Law Museum at Gourdon, Johnshaven, St Cyrus, Montrose basin and Ferryden all merit a visit, and we are spoilt for choice if you’re after fish and chips!

“I applaud the work done by the East Grampian Coastal partnership and the Tay Estuary Forum in bringing together local interests to improve our coast and its communities.

“There are many walks and cycling opportunities across my constituency. I want to encourage everyone to get out and enjoy our wonderful coast and countryside.”
