LOCAL nursery New Friends held a fund-raiser on Saturday September, 29, in aid of Tayside Children with Cancer and Leukaemia and Adam Brymer, a four-year old who was diagnosed with Leukaemia and has attended New Friends.
Held in the Novar Suite in Brechin, the group held a raffle and there was a huge number of prizes available, all very generously donated by a host local businesses.
The local Police set up a stall to help out the cause, giving the children a taste of having their fingerprints taken. There was a variety of stalls on the day, including face-painting, cake and candy, craft stalls and a whole lot more.
It was a hugely successful day, with the fund-raising total sat at £1,775.14 as the Brechin Advertiser went to press. New Friends and Adam’s family would like to thank those who donated items and to everyone who supported the event.
