The Great knittykittybangbang and Friends Charity Auction will take place online on April 28 from 7 to 9 p.m. in aid of MNDScotland.
A total of 40 local, and several more less local, businesses have got together to create a large online auction to raise money for MNDScotland.
Carolyn Anderson Shepherd, the main auction organiser, has been raising money for MNDScotland for several years, after the third member of her family was diagnosed with motor neurone disease.
Carolyn says: “I initially approached a few of my business contacts to see if anyone would be interested in taking part and was completely overwhelmed by the response. I thought I might get 0 to 20 businesses, but the offers have kept coming in!”
Businesses from as far afield as Orkney and London have been in touch to offer items to be auctioned off. Amongst these items are a large photograph of St Palladius’ Chapel near Auchenblae, a painting by award winning Aberdeenshire based artist Craig Shepherd, and a handmade Frithe hat from up and coming Scottish fashion label Fernweh.
