Police appeal after two Brechin incidents

Police Scotland officers in Brechin are appealing for information following two incidents in the town.

The first incident took place at about 9.30pm on Saturday, March 26. A window was smashed at The Brechin Mechanic’s Institute in St Mary Street, Brechin and two person were seen running away towards St David Street. Both were wearing hooded tops, one was dark in colour and the other white and they both had their hoods up.

The second incident took place in the early hours of Wednesday, March 30. A car, which had been abandoned for the last 10 days in a field, just off the A933 at the entrance to Kinnaird Estate, was set alight.

Should anyone have witnessed any of these crimes or know the person or persons responsible, they should call 101 or speak to any Police Officer.
