Police seek local help

Police in Brechin are seeking information over a number of incidents across the town.

Sometime between 10.30 a.m. and 3.40 p.m. on Friday, August 30, entry was gained to an address in Eastbank, Brechin. Two gent’s watches, a distinctive laptop in a distinctive laptop bag and six packets of cigarettes were stolen.

Police wish to speak with anyone who may have seen someone in the area carrying a laptop bag or anyone who have been offered these items for sale.

About 6.15 a.m. on Sunday, August 25, a red Renault van collided with fences at the rear of Guthrie Park, Brechin causing damage. Contact police if you know the whereabouts or can identify the vehicle.

In another incident, about 8.15 p.m. on Friday, August 30, a parked vehicle in Damacre Road was damaged when it was struck by a white coloured vehicle. Police are keen to trace this vehicle.
