Council leader Iain Gaul commended council staff, commenting: “Investors in People accreditation highlights to our customers that we are committed to improvement and quality.

“Given the amount and pace of change that the council is going through, the renewal of our accreditation is a very well deserved achievement for the organisation and our hardworking staff, who continually go the extra mile to make our services stand out.”

Peter Russian, chief executive of Investors in People Scotland, added: “This is a fantastic achievement for Angus Council. I congratulate the organisation and its people on their commitment to continuous improvement.
