MSP calls on Brechiners to report landline issues

Brechiners who are having problems getting their landline telephones to work are being urged to contact their MSP, Nigel Don, with their issues.

Mr Don has been contacted by several constituents who live in the centre of Brechin who are having difficulty getting their telephone landlines to work. It is not clear where the problem lies, but there is increasing frustration because delays seem to take many weeks.

Mr Don said: “I would be grateful if folk living in the centre of Brechin would contact me so that I can assess the scale of the problem. I understand that the service providers, BT and Openreach are all blaming each other. Given a clearer understanding of the scale and nature of the problem then I will be better placed to try to resolve it. I can be contacted at nigel.don.msp@scottish.parliament.uk or on 01569 767206.”
