Organisers appeal for buildings for Doors Open Day

Angus Doors Open Days organisers are appealing to building owners and event organisers to get involved in this year’s celebrations.

Doors Open Days is co-ordinated nationally by the Scottish Civic Trust and contributes to European Heritage Days, which sees over 25 million people take part in activities and visits.

During Doors Open days people can see inside buildings that may not normally be accessible, providing the opportunity, free of charge, to experience not only cultural and historic buildings, but also some unusual and contemporary buildings, as well as gardens and open spaces.

Angus Doors Open Days will take place on September 5 and 6 and is a wonderful opportunity to showcase local architecture, design, buildings, places and spaces.

If you have a unique building or a beautiful garden that you’d like to share, or are planning any events or activities which would complement the Angus Doors Open Days programme, please get involved in this year’s celebrations.

The Angus Doors Open days programme will be launched in the summer, so if you’d like to help make the event a success please contact Gillian Black on or 01307 473226 by June 22, to ensure inclusion in the programme.
