Power tools stolen in two break-ins

Police are investigating two thefts from workshops over the weekend.

Power tools were stolen during break-ins to two separate workshops at Brechin Industrial Estate on Montrose Road overnight Friday into Saturday (February 11-12).

 Two £400 Bosch chop saws – one blue and green in colour, the other blue and silver – were stolen from Stephen Warren Construction’s unit, some time between 7 pm on Friday and 9.20 the following morning.

E.J. Croll’s premises were also broken into – some time between 4.30 pm on Friday and 2.30 pm on Saturday – and a De Walt drill, an orange-coloured Paslode nail gun, a De Walt jigsaw and a grey-coloured Elu router were taken, with a combined value in excess of £900.
