A fundraiser in aid of a local Brechin care centre is set to take place at the Caledonian Hotel in Brechin on Monday, June 22.
Two local ladies have volunteered to hold a quiz and raffle evening in order to raise cash for the Dalhousie Centre on the High Street.
Staunch supporter Annie Baikie and member of staff Lorraine Mitchell came up with this idea to raise funds to improve the area of the centre which is currently used as a quiet space for centre users who wish to take a break from the day’s activities.
The event starts at 7pm in the Caledonian Hotel on June 22.
Groups interested in a fun evening are invited to form teams of four to enter.
The cost of entry to per team is £12.
A spokesperson for the Dalhousie Centre commented: “As always donations towards the raffle will be very welcome and they can be handed in to the centre at 102 High Street, or at the event on the evening.
“All monies raised for the centre are spent supporting older people to live independently within our community.”
