Brechin Rotary’s first meeting of their New Year saw them up the Square Tower of Brechin Cathedral.
The Rev. Dr Roderick Grahame, invited by member Bruce Robertson, gave a guided presentation of our Cathedral and its history.
Dr Grahame has conducted extensive research for his book on the Cathedral, to be published in 2017.
His depth of knowledge ensured a very interesting evening. One of the ‘highlights’ was the chance to go up the Square Tower, almost as high as the more famous Round Tower.
The Rotarians and their guests overcame the vertigo-inducing height to be amazed by the views. Rotary Club member Isobel Luke gave Dr Grahame a vote of thanks.
