The Scots Guards band marched through Brechin on Saturday, as part of their Regimental Association Gathering.

They were in town on October 1 and 2, for the event which took place in the grounds of Brechin Castle equestrian park.

The band also performed in Brechin Cathedral, with Lieutenant Colonel David Price OBE, who was Director of Music between 1987 to 1999, guest conductor for the evening.

The Gathering at the equestrian park was also attended by The Duke of Kent, who is Patron of the Scots Guards Association and Colonel of the Scots Guards regiment.

The event was attended by Scots Guards of the past and present.
