Brechin Churches Together has issued an invite for local residents to a special service on Sunday, January 18, at 11 a.m., for all the Brechin community.
Several of the local congregations are taking part - Baptist, Presbyterians, Catholic, Episcopalian and the Salvation Army - who make up Brechin Churches Together.
A spokesperson for the group said: “On Sunday, January 18, for an hour or so, we’ll be celebrating together all that we share in Christian worship here in Brechin. This is an all age service, so bring the kids too for some fun and special activities. Our service is hosted by the Gardner Memorial (opposite St Ninian’s Square) and begins at 11 a.m.
“Please bring your lunch box - and something to share - then around 12, we’ll have a soup lunch together in the hall. We’ll supply the soup and the drinks - please just turn up for an ecumenical and relaxed time of giving thanks for all we share in Brechin.”
