SMYLEE Tots parent and toddler group is looking for more members to join up.

The group meets every Monday and Thursday morning from 9.30 am to 11.30 am at the Cathedral Hall, Chruch Street, Brechin. For only £1 for the first child and 50p for any subsequent children, the group is a great place for children to get to socialise with other children.

A snack is provided during the session as part of the cost.

Emma Hoyle, one of the parents who helps run the group said: “Parents and tots is a great way to let your children to play with other children in a safe and friendly environment.

“During the morning there are various activities that the children can take part in. This includes a bouncy castle, dressing up, books and toys. There is also the opportunity for the children to take part in arts and crafts, playdoh and potato painting.

“The group is relaxed and informal and not only does it give the children the chance to meet new friends but it also gives the parents the opportunity to socialise with other adults and to test different types of biscuits.

“The group caters for children from birth to school age and because adults have to stay with the children during the group there is no reason why children of school age cannot join the group during the school holidays.”
