Sports focus at Brechin High

Sports Day Yesterday (Tuesday) was Sports Day, with a range of exciting and challenging activities. Lunch was taken early at 12.05pm to allow more time for activities in the afternoon.

The range of activities included Wellie Chuckin', Chain Relay, Pair Pursuit, Speed Bounce, Shuttle Relay and Tug O' War. The event was aimed at encouraging as many pupils as possible to take part and creating an atmosphere of fun!

Athletics Success

Congratulations to Mark Tough on his recent success with Montrose Athletics club at the East of Scotland District Championship at Meadowbank Stadium in Edinburgh. Mark won gold in the under 17 shot putt and discuss events and took silver in the hammer event.

Canteen Facilities – Lunch Bag

The canteen is offering a new service to pupils to allow a packed lunch to be ordered in the morning and collected at lunchtime.

Pupils complete an order form at registration in the morning, giving their name, class and dinner card number and select their lunch from the menu.

The office staff will arrange for the details to go to the canteen and lunches are collected from the canteen at the start of lunchtime.

The new serving arrangements have been in place for a few weeks now and have helped reduce the time that pupils have had to queue. Further improvements will take place over the summer holidays for the start of next session.
