There was plenty of support for ‘Movember’ at D&A College’s Arbroath Campus, with even the ladies supporting a ‘tache thanks to beauty care and make-up students offering a Movember Makeover.

A total of 18 NC (Level five) beauty care and make-up students supported the male health initiative by offering to provide bespoke ’taches in exchange for donations to anyone who was brave enough to sport one. Nail art was also offered as a more subtle way to show support for the charity.

Lecturer Vick Smith said: “This provided the chance for our students to use their make-up expertise to help a good cause. A lot of guys, students and staff, get into the spirit of Pink Day to help raise funds to battle breast cancer, so it was heartening to see so many girls getting involved in something that promotes male health.”
