Crofts Vets are holding a special competition for children aged 16 years and younger ahead of their charity fun day.
All you have to do is create a picture of any animal and then submit it to the practice with your name and age on it by Monday, August 19.
The competition is in aid of Cats Protection, with the surgery holding a charity fun day in aid of the Montrose and Brechin Cats Protection branch.
All entries will be on display at the practice until a winner is picked at the centre’s Cats Protection day on Sunday, August 25. Prizes will go to the top three pictures.
The Montrose and Brechin branch rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes stray cats and kittens, as well as encouraging neutering of all cats and kittens not involved in breeding programmes.
The charity also facilitates the trapping and neutering of feral cats, whether single or a colony, and provide a rehoming service for feral cats after neutering should they be unable to return to their original homes
The charity promotes responsible cat ownership by providing non-veterinary advice to the public about cat care, as well as operating a lost and found register.
