MEMBERS of CTC Tayside incorporated their annual general meeting into their bi-monthly cycle this week.
Leaving from one of their regular starting points in Dundee, a dozen hardy souls rode along unseasonably snow-covered back roads to reach Eassie and Nevay Hall where the annual general meeting was held.
If proof were needed of the sub-zero conditions, it was re-iterated when the cyclists passed a man dressed in a penguin suit, along a quiet country road.
David Shaw was elected Chairman, Ron Harrow was elected Treasurer and Pat Harrow continues in post as Secretary.
The cyclists were treated to a warming soup and scones lunch following the meeting.
With a national upsurge in interest in cycling, CTC Tayside welcomes new members from throughout Angus.
They offer leisurely-paced regular cycle runs of varying lengths on quiet roads, in a sociable and safe environment.
