The Strathmore Hall in Forfar is proving to be the ideal venue for music nights to remember.

Fresh from the success of Irish singing star Derek Ryan, Joan Keith and her team are getting ready to welcome Mike Denver, who is affectionately known as ‘The Galway Boy’.

Mike will be in concert at the Strathmore Hall at Forfar Mart on Thursday, November 20.

He has been on the road for just over 10 years and during that time has been at the forefront of Irish music.

This friendly and down to earth young man keeps on drawing huge crowds with his fast moving and exciting show of country, popular and Irish songs.

His first big hit was ‘The Galway Boy’ and he has followed that and many more hits this year with ‘Tommy Kay the DJ.’

This song has got into the heads of a lot of people who just cannot stop singing it!

Mike’s latest album is ‘There is Only One Mike Denver’ and that has been a best seller.

With his super five-man band, Mike puts on a great entertaining show that suits everybody in the family.

Guest star on the show will be Caitlin, a lovely young lady from Ireland’s County Down.

She has become a firm favourite on television singing songs like ‘Conemara Marble Ring’, ‘Heaven Won’t Be Heaven’ and ‘Flower of Scotland’.

Tickets for the show, priced at £18, can be obtained from Joan on 07786 086 512.

This is a great opportunity to hear Mike live in concert in Angus.
