Residents in Inchbare will have to contend with road closures as Angus Council set to resurface the B966 in the area.
The road has long been an issue with potholes.
Work is expected to take place in mid-August, but due to health and safety reason, there will have to be road closures.
Due to the traffic volume on the road - including public and school buses - the council are to undertake the work during restricted hours. This is expected to be from 9 a.m to 3 p.m., with the road reopening outwith those times.
During the roadworks, the diversions look to be the A90 to North Water Bridge for northbound to Edzell and the U428 Dunlappie (B966/U428/C35/U429/C30/B966) for southbound, with lorries over 25 tonnes taken through the works when possible due to a restriction on this route.
