A £720,000 investment from Transport Scotland sees a 1.3km stretch of the A90 undergo improvement works on the northbound section from Moatmill to Tealing.
The work will involve repairs to the surface of the northbound carriageway and refreshment of the road markings.
The overnight work started on Sunday and will run for four weeks between 7.30pm and 6.30am, with no works taking place on Friday or Saturday nights.
However, it was realised that the timetable for the work would coincide with T in the Park.
So to minimise disruption to traffic, all work will be suspended between tomorrow (Thursday, July 9) and Monday.
While work is under way a convoy system will be in operation with a 10mph speed limit to help keep workers and motorists safe. The convoy will be removed outwith working hours, however a lane closure will remain in place 24 hours a day due to technical aspects of the new surfacing. All traffic management will be removed at weekends.
