THE contracts for a number of local bus services which operate with financial support from Angus Council expire at the end of May.

Following a review of services and a retendering exercise there will be changes to some local bus services in Angus, effective from Monday May 28.

In addition, Stagecoach Strathtay has reviewed a number of their commercial services and revisions are also introduced by them from this date.

Changes to timetables and/or routes will be taking place on the following services:-

Services 8 and 9: Montrose – Craigo – Laurencekirk;

Service 21A: Forfar – Brechin – Stracathro Hospital – Edzell;

Services 23 – 23B, 24, 114 & 117: Forfar Town Services;

Services 27 – 27C: Forfar – Letham – Friockheim – Arbroath

Services 30, 30A & 30B: Arbroath – Montrose – Brechin – Stracathro Hospital/ Edzell;

Services 39, 39A, 73 – 73E: Arbroath – Carnoustie – Monifieth – Broughty Ferry – Dundee – Ninewells Hospital;

Services 43, 44 – 44A: Arbroath Town Services;

Services 47, 47B, 48 and 52: Montrose Town Services;

Service 75: Ethiebeaton Park – Grange Road – Broughty Ferry – Dundee City Centre;

Service 81: Carnoustie – Monifieth – Wellbank/Monikie – Forfar;

Services 115 and 116: Friockheim – Farnell/Inverkeilor – Montrose;

Services 137 – 139: Dundee – Strathmartine Hospital – Bridgefoot – Kirkton of Auchterhouse;
