A local resident of Argyll Street, Brechin, is fed up of the parking issues blighting the street when Brechin Bowling Club have matches.
Sonia Tinsley, who has lived on the street for 14 years, contacted the Brechin Advertiser about the situation, branding it “ridiculous”.
Speaking on Monday (June 3) she said: “It’s been going on for 14 years now and I have had enough. It is a massive issue and there are cars parking on both sides, which causes problems for the school buses.
“Today the bus is having to stop at Latch Road and the kids are having to walk down the road to get there. I don’t like that the kids have to that – it’s not fair.
“They must have a huge game today and there is people having to go to the bowling club to get them to move the cars.”
Sonia explained that when there is big games at the club, it is both sides of the street that are affected.
She added:“There have been issues about parking elsewhere in the town, but this has been going on for 14 years and nothing has been done.”
At the time of going to press, Brechin Bowling Club were unobtainable for comment.
