WEBSTER'S SCHOOL NOTES, OCTOBER 29, 2009

S4 Parents' Evening: All S4 parents have been invited to the school on Thursday evening (tomorrow) to discuss how best to work with the school in preparing their sons and daughters for their Standard Grades. A large turnout is very much hoped for.

Kenyan Visitors: Webster's link with Litein High School, Kenya, continues to develop. On Friday two of the Litein staff and, for the first time, two of the pupils arrived for a fortnight's stay.

They are living at the Servite housing in the town and the school is very grateful to Mrs Kathy Robertson of the Parent Council for making this possible.

On Saturday there was a tour of Discovery in Dundee; on Sunday they attended church at Cortachy and were welcomed by the Rev. Malcolm Rooney. A busy programme awaits the foursome over the next few days and everyone hopes they enjoy their visit. Next year two Webster's pupils will be going to Litein.
