IN 1959, Buddy Holly began a string of dates in the American Mid-West.
The tour was to prove to be Buddy Holly’s final tour and it was called The Winter Dance Party Tour which included Ritchie Valens, Big Bopper Dion and the man himself, Buddy Holly.
With four West End artists paying tribute to these four icons, many classics from Buddy Holly’s earlier songs ‘Blue Days Black Nights to ‘Heartbeat’ and ‘Raining in my Heart’ to ‘La Bamba’, ‘Chantilly Lace’, and ‘Run-around Sue’ are to name but a few that will have you foot tapping, jiving in the isles and sending you back to bygone days that were full of rock and roll, wall to wall classics, with a live four piece band.
This exciting performance is set to take place on Saturday, May 11, at 7.30 p.m. at the Webster Memorial Theatre, Arbroath.
Tickets are priced at £16 and £15 for concessions.
