A woman in her 40s has died after an incident near Broughty Ferry train station yesterday (Wednesday, June 22)
A British Police Transport statement said: “Shortly after 11am on Wednesday, June 22, officers from BTP were called to the railway line near Broughty Ferry station following reports a person was struck by a train.
“Officers attended alongside Police Scotland and Scottish Ambulance Service and a woman in her 40s was pronounced dead at the scene. Her family have been informed.
“There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death and a full report will be submitted to the local Procurator Fiscal.”
