Brechin City and Forfar Athletic will have to do it all again after a pulsating and incident-packed Scottish Cup fourth round derby at Glebe Park.

After five minutes of injury time the honours were shared in a 1-1 draw.

From a neutral’s point of view, this game had everything - goals, near misses, sending-offs, bookings and plenty of controversy, but City will feel it was a game they definitely deserved to win.

City grabbed the lead through Alan Trouten eight minutes into the second-half, but the Loons dramatically levelled the score-line five minutes into injury-time when former City midfielder Martyn Fotheringham fired home a controversially awarded free-kick which took a cruel deflection off of City defender Graham Hay on its way into the net.

City will now face a replay at Station park on Tuesday, December 10, at 7.45 p.m.

Fifth round fixtures are as follows: Alloa Athletic v Dumbarton; Clyde or Stranraer v Inverness Caledonian Thistle; Hibernian v Raith Rover; Albion Rovers v Stenhousemuir; Brechin City or Forfar Athletic v St Johnstone; Celtic v Aberdeen; Dundee United v Queen of the South or St Mirren; Rangers v Ayr United or Dunfermline Athletic.
