Brechin City recorded their third successive draw on Saturday, but manager Ray McKinnon was left lamenting his side’s dropped points.

City took the lead in the first half, with Stranraer equalising in the early stages of the second half.

However, City had a number of chances to take the lead, leaving Mr McKinnon citing the result as “two points lost.”

Speaking after the match, he said: “I’m disappointed, very disappointed. I’m disappointed for the players as well.

“They were so good going forward and so many chances created, but they are not taking the right decisions and putting them away.

“It’s frustrating. It’s definitely two points lost. It’s not a nice feeling standing here knowing that.

“We just need to work hard and make sure the guys make the right decisions, and that we starting putting teams away when we are in control.”

Brechin City’s fixture list will see them play two back-to-back away games, with a trip to face Airdrieonians this Saturday, followed by a visit to Stenhousemuir on October 12.

City are next at home on Saturday, October 19, when they will host Rangers. The club is expected to announce ticketing information for this fixture in due course.
