Brechin to play Rangers

Brechin City are to be the first team to play the Newco Rangers in a competitive match.

Brechin were set to host Dundee in the first round of the Ramsden Cup on July 28, but will now face the Scottish Football League newcomers, after the SPL invited Dundee to fill the vacant spot in the premier league.
