BRECHIN City’s hopes of a promotion play-off spot were dealt a further blow on Saturday (this afternoon) when they were held two a two-all draw at home to Dumbarton.
The reds looked good for victory when they scored two goals in four minutes late in the first half.
Paul McManus netted in 30 minutes and McKenzie doubled the advantage four minutes later.
But the Sons were not to be denied, the ever-dangerous Prunty pulling a goal back in 57 minutes and Agnew levelling in 73 minutes.
The result leaves City four points adrift of fourth-place, with their next outing a trip to East Fife on Tuesday evening.
