Brechin City are to celebrate the end of the season by slashing gate entry prices for their final match at home to Stenhousemuir.

The club’s management committee has confirmed that fans of all ages and of both teams are set to enjoy ‘Fitba for a fiver’, thanks to a one-off gate-entry price promotion. The promotion sits alongside an additional discounted offer, with the parent and child entry price reduced to £10, plus £2 for each additional child.

City, who secured their League One status with their victory over third-place Stranraer, are looking to end the season on a high as they welcome Stenhousemuir. The Warriors, who are still in with a chance for a promotion play-off spot, are expected to bring a large following to the match.

A spokesman for the management committee said: “Hopefully Glebe Park regulars – as well as occasional fans, and Warriors supporters – will turn out to enjoy this clash, this being one of the four meaningful League One clashes of the day.

“It’s great that there’s something of significance riding on this, the last chance to experience live SPFL action at The Glebe this season.”
