City held to a draw by Airdrie United

BRECHIN City had to settle for a share of the spoils at home to Airdrie United on Saturday.

The reds took the lead through Paul McManus in 26 minutes, but the Diamonds hit back to level through Holmes 18 minutes from time.

Soon after City were reduced to ten men when Craig Molloy was shown a red card.

Brechin are back in action on Tuesday evening when they entertain near-neighbours Arbroath, four-two victors over Forfar Athletic at Station Park this afternoon (Saturday).
